Everything You and Your Bride Tribe Need for the Perfect Wedding Morning

Cue the excited squeals, happy dances and tears of joy! The big day has finally arrived and you’re well and truly ready to marry the love of your life! All the finer details that you have been planning over the past few months will soon become a reality, as you look forward to celebrating one of the most special days in the company of your nearest and dearest.

There’s no doubt that the morning of the big day can be quite chaotic, so we’ve put together a super helpful checklist that you can reference to assist you in creating the perfect wedding morning, and ultimately the perfect wedding day!

SNACKS:

First things first, get your snacks sorted because nobody likes a #hangry bride! On the night before the big day, spend a few minutes cutting up some fruit so you can pull out a tub of healthy treats when you and your girls are getting ready during the morning prep time. The day ahead might not allow much time for eating, so be sure to snack in the morning. Nuts are another great option which can also be taken with you so the bridal party can snack on throughout the day, between the ceremony, photoshoot and reception. Alternatively – have one of your bridesmaids organise an antipasto platter for the morning’s feed.

MORNING GLAM & PHOTOS - YOU'LL NEED:

THE ESSENTIALS!
Bride & Bridesmaid Robes or Pyjamas
Balloons, decorations to set the scene

For the ultimate wedding morning, there’s nothing better than getting ready with your closest gal pals in matching robes or PJ’s! You can channel your inner 15-year-old selves (you know, when slumber parties were all the rage), and start the day off in sheer comfort. Our range of bridesmaid robes come in so many colours to suit the theme of your wedding, and they can even be personalised with names, initials and words. We even stock smaller sizes for your flower girl so she won’t miss out on the fun! Likewise, our range of pyjamas can also be customised to suit your bride tribe and are available in 6 on-trend colours. These items make for the perfect wedding morning photos, as your hair and make-up team also work their magic.

Speaking of photos, many brides are increasingly creating magical settings within their own homes for their photographer to shoot them in, simply by adding balloons and fairy lights! Our Bride to Be balloons have been extremely popular, as have our 30 piece rose gold balloon sets

FLAT SHOES & MINI EMERGENCY KITS:

On the morning of the big day don’t forget to pack some flat shoes – trust us, you and the girls will thank us for this little tip later. We highly recommend getting some foldable ballet flats that can be easily stored away in purses and bags without taking up too much space. After a day of walking, posing for photos and dancing – you’ll want peace of mind knowing that you have the option of something comfortable to slip into.

We also recommend packing a mini emergency kit, which can simply be a small purse full of band-aids, cotton buds, tissues, lippy, and mints.

THE RINGS:

Yeah, you definitely don’t want to forget this one! On the morning of the big day, be sure to double-check the rings are safely stored away in your ring boxes, and a delegated bridal party member has them in their possession, ready for the ceremony.

GIFTS FOR YOUR BRIDESMAIDS:

Your girls will really appreciate a small thank you gift on the morning of the special day. After taking time out of their busy schedules to help you plan the wedding, attend dress fittings, listen to you vent and plan your hen’s party, a small gesture such this really shows the girls how much you care about them, and value their friendship. After all, a happy bridesmaid equals a happy bride, right?! We have a huge range of bridal party gifts and cards to spoil your girls with. Create some DIY ‘self-care’ boxes for the girls and include some of our Indulgence Gift Sets with Soak Tube, Soak Satchel, Bath Tea Bag in a cute Calico Bag.

There you have it – all the essentials for a perfect wedding morning and day! Be sure to save this post for future reference so you don’t forget anything, and if you have any questions about our stocked items – don’t hesitate to get in touch.
