Rosie & Jay: A Blue-and-White Wedding at Coombe Yarra Valley

There's a reason we keep coming back to Coombe Yarra Valley weddings: the rolling lawns, the towering cypress trees, the way the light sits soft and grey over the hills even in the middle of summer. Rosie and Jay Boccamazzo said "I do" here in January 2026, surrounded by family, friends, and one very memorable champagne tower, and it's a day we're still thinking about.
Getting Ready
The morning started the way we love best: quiet, warm, and full of laughter. Rosie and her girls got ready in matching dusty-blue pyjamas and slippers, toasting with champagne on the porch before the whirlwind of the day began.
There's something about matching robes and pyjamas that turns "getting ready" into its own celebration, and this crew brought all the joy.
Once hair and makeup wrapped up, it was time for the first look with the bridesmaids — and the reactions speak for themselves.
The Details
Soft blue and white was the palette of the day, carried through the bouquets, the bridesmaid dresses, and the florals scattered through the getting-ready suite.
The Ceremony
Rosie walked down the cypress-lined aisle on her father's arm, with guests tucked under white umbrellas against the grey Yarra Valley sky.
And then, the moment everyone was waiting for: the dip, the kiss, and a shower of petals.
Portraits
The whole bridal party gathered poolside for photos before the reception, bridesmaids in powder blue and groomsmen in classic black tie.

Rosie stepped out of the car in her reception look, veil trailing behind her — a quiet, glamorous moment before rejoining the party.
Her bouquet of white roses and blue hydrangea was the perfect finishing touch against her second dress.
Jay and Rosie stole a few minutes together, champagne in hand, strolling the property before guests arrived at the reception.
One of our favourite shots from the whole day: the two of them tucked beneath Rosie's floral veil, hidden away from the world for just a moment.
And from above, just the two of them crossing the Coombe's sweeping lawns hand in hand.
The Reception
Inside, fairy lights and exposed brick set the scene for a night of celebration — kicked off, of course, with a champagne tower.
